It feels strange Now that it's over Now that You've pronounced it over. 'I'm done with this', She said, The 'this' being me And the 'done' Being a lie. Nothing's ever done So long as it resides In our minds, No matter how many times I ask myself... Why should I care, If she doesn't anymore? She treated me like a child And I reacted childishly... Such sweet simplicity Surely leads To a black and white reality Where I can perceive The futility Of holding onto 'we'. It has. " I'm going to finally do it" No you aren't. You're going to chicken out and cry to your therapist again. " No this time is really the end" You need to stop lying we all know you couldn't even if there was a loaded gun in front of you. "I'm really going to!" No you aren't. "Yes I am!" The sad part is, I haven't cried a single tear. This is but the end. Of our fairy tale story. It closes, when you shut your eyes. So, kiss me goodnight prince. This princess has somewhere else to be. What's even the point? All this pushing does is result in more pain. The stress builds up and they all mock me. You're not old enough to understand real pain. Their words stab at every insecurity I had. Their words break every stability I had. What about my pain isn't real? What about my suffering isn't legitimate enough? When will you realize that I'm suffering too. I'm breaking apart too. But I don't verbalize mine to co-workers who couldn't care less. I don't rant about mine on a facebook whom nobody reads. I bottle mine up. I suffer too. But you're too self-absorbed to realize it.

Let's try taking a break from romance...

It's been a while, found myself lacking inspiration for a time and after that I simply found I didn't have the will to write. Not a clue if anyone reads this things, but this one's a long-overdue update. Recent events have made it ever more apparent that most of my work is somewhat... focused with glaring intent on a particular theme, the theme being romance, love and associated feelings. While it's a broad area to explore, I feel it would serve me best to stretch my limits and try some other topics... rather than focusing so much on this one.
